The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 3M Open starting on Thursday at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

My PGA Tour field ranking for 3M Open looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the best in the world for the start of the final run of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup regular season.

The 3M Open is back, and this is a critical tournament for a lot of players competing this week to get into the top 70 in the points standings and to get into the playoffs. This is a water-heavy course that tends to favor bombers.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 3M Open rankings.

2025 3M Open expert picks and rankings

1. Chris Gotterup: Gotterup has to be riding so high right now, and he's coming off a career-defining two-week period. He has an outside shot at the Ryder Cup now.

2. Wyndham Clark: Clark has been solid the last two weeks, including a great Open finish. He looks happier out on the course, and if that continues, he's a name to consider.

3. Sam Burns: Burns lost the lengthy RBC Canadian Open playoff, and he's kind of fallen off some since, but he's still a top-tier player here this week.

4. Maverick McNealy: McNealy enjoyed a good week at Royal Portrush, completing a third event in a row in the top 23 on the leaderboard.

5. Max Greyserman: Greyserman played well at the Barracuda, lost a playoff in Detroit and was runner-up here last year.

6. Tony Finau: Finau seemed to be gaining some confidence, perhaps even putting, last week. He's the biggest horse-for-course play this week.

7. Jake Knapp: TPC Twin Cities seems to favor bombers who can keep the ball reasonably in play (i.e., out of the water), and Knapp should fit the bill.

8. Michael Thorbjornsen: Michael Thorbjornsen has been great in his last three starts, and his distance should be an asset here in the way that it was at the ISCO Championship.

9. Rickie Fowler: Fowler has been strong in three of his last five PGA Tour starts, and there's reason to believe that will continue.

10. Emiliano Grillo: Grillo is the second-best horse-for-course play this week, but he is a hard man to pin down on a good finish.
