Max Homa has 6 PGA Tour wins in his career. Several years ago, he was on a career trajectory that had him as a top-10 player in the world and potentially a major champion.
In 2025, Homa is at a crossroads in his career as a long drought without a win continues.
The last time Max Homa won a PGA Tour event was at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open, winning early in the year at Torrey Pines for that sixth win. It has now been almost two-and-a-half years since that victory.
Of course, Homa's yet to win a major championship, though he did have a good run at the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow before faltering in the final round.
Homa now finds himself on the verge of falling out of the top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking, far away from his best-ever ranking of fifth.
Throughout his majors career, Homa has struggled. However, he had back-to-back top-10 major championships finishes from his T-10 finish in the 2023 Open Championship and his T-3 finish in the 2024 Masters. His best major finish in 2025 was a T-12 at the Masters.
Homa's last good chance to win came at the 2024 Nedbank Golf Challenge on the DP World Tour, as he sought to defend a title he won the year prior in South Africa.
