Jon Rahm has 11 PGA Tour wins and two-time LIV Golf winner in his career. Several years ago, he was on a career trajectory that set himself up to win at least a dozen times on the PGA Tour, particularly because of the PGA Tour events he won against superior fields.
In 2025, Rahm is at a crossroads in his career as he is a top player on LIV Golf and no longer on the PGA Tour.
The last time Jon Rahm won a PGA Tour event was the 2023 Masters Tournament. It was the second major victory of Rahm's career, following a breakthrough win at the 2021 US Open at Torrey Pines.
He last won a golf tournament at LIV Golf Chicago in summer 2024, in the final individual event of their season.
Rahm's last PGA Tour-specific win is the 2021 Genesis Invitational. Rahm has made millions of dollars on the PGA Tour, but he moved to the LIV Golf League, where he won twice in 2024: at the LIV Golf UK event and in the LIV Golf Chicago event.
By then, Rahm had already won two major championships before taking big money to go to LIV Golf.
Rahm has full LIV Golf League status as a signee of the league. He does not have the opportunity to play on the PGA Tour at present.
However, a major championship win at the PGA Championship for Rahm could be the third leg of the career Grand Slam and give him great momentum heading into the other major championships in 2025. He's been a top-15 magnet in his short career in the majors, and he's looking to get back to the level of ballstriking that allowed him to be one of the five best golfers in the world.
