2025 Masters weather forecast shows mostly calm conditions, potential rain at Augusta National

The 2025 Masters weather forecast looks to little chance of rain falling at Augusta National Golf Club, save for the second day of the tournament on Friday.

Thursday's first day of tournament action see partly cloudy conditions, though the temperatures will be in the mid-70s and the cloud cover will not be accompanied with signficant winds.

On Friday is the biggest and only significant chance of rain for the tournament, coming in at 45 percent. However, this rain forecast doesn't seem to call for rain that would stop play.

With rain forecast for on Friday, Augusta National may play longer for most of the field on Friday and a portion of Saturday. Though the club's Sub-Air systems will help vacuum moisture from underneath the putting surfaces, they should hold shots better over the course of the tournament.

The general weather forecast for the weekend calls for little chance of rain. On Saturday, it will be the coolest day of the week, shy of 70 degrees. However, Championship Sunday should be fantastic.

The Par-3 Contest on Wednesday should be played under perfect weather conditions, with sunny skies and temperatures around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, if the weather and timing of the week is thrown off such that the tournament would need to finish on Monday (and Augusta National will do everything in their power to avoid that), the Monday weather forecast is great.
