The 2025 Valspar Championship purse is set for $8.7 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,566,000 -- not the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The 2025 Valspar Championship field is headed by Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele and more of the world's best players.

The 155-player field competes in the latest event of the year, with the event played at the Tampa-area resort that's home to the Snake Pit.

A cut is made after 36 holes to the top 65 players and ties at the halfway point. All players who finish four rounds of the tournament will earn money.

The prize-money payout is typically based on exactly 65 players making the cut and finishing the tournament. When more than 65 pros make the cut, the purse is increased to make sure every player is paid.
