Jason Day is wearing an actual sweatsuit on Sunday in the final round of the 2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The Aussie has become a golf fashion lightning rod since signing and wearing Malbon Golf clothing on the PGA Tour. He may be wearing his boldest look yet at Pebble Beach.
Day appears to be wearing a grey Malbon sweatsuit for the final round of the Signature event on the Monterey peninsula.

At times, Day's fashions have drawn rave reviews, including the zip-up sweater he wore at Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open. At other times, he has been asked to remove the clothes he's wearing, including at the Masters by members of Augusta National and by the PGA Tour for wearing a windbreaker that seems to have run afoul of PGA Tour apparel rules.
Malbon has smartly used Day's clothing choices to drive sales online in the immediate buzz after he wears certain looks.
This particular look seems to draw mixed reviews, as has typically been the case. Some folks on social media like that he's going as casually as possible. Some are upset that he's not adhering to basic standards of what professionals should wear inside the ropes on the PGA Tour.
As far as the PGA Tour is concerned, though, there's a loose interpretation of what counts as fashionably acceptable.
According to the PGA Tour player handbook for 2025, these are the governing lines about a player's appearance and fashions: "Players shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Clothing worn by players shall be consistent with currently accepted golf fashion. The Chief Referee shall interpret this regulation, subject to the approval of the Commissioner."
