The 2025 WebEx Players Series Murray River final leaderboard is headed by winner Blake Proverbs, who earned the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia win at Cobram Barooga Golf Resort's Old Course in Barooga, Australia.
Proverbs earned a playoff win over Jason Norris after both players finished the 72-hole event tied on 23-under 261. Proverbs began the day three shots adrift of Jake McLeod, and he wound up in a playoff with Norris. Dramatic birdies on the first playoff hole gave way to standard pars on the second playoff hole. Norris' errant drive cost him on the third playoff hole on No. 18, but Proverbs bounced a juiced wedge off the grandstands and back to 25 feet. Proverbs two-putted for the win after Norris' bogey.
Cholcheva Wongras finished in third place alone, as she ended up a shot out of the playoff after missing a slider for birdie on the final hole of regulation.
Proverbs won the AUD $45,000 winner's share of the AUD $250,000 purse.

Proverbs earned 2.56 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win. The field for the tournament was modest, mostly filled with Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia regulars.
There was a cut this week at 4-under 138, with 58 players finishing the event in the latest event of the season.
The 2025 Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia schedule continues next week with the Vic Open.
