2025 SDC Open final results: Prize money payout, leaderboard and how much each golfer won

The 2025 SDC Open final leaderboard is headed by winner Daniel Van Tonder, who earned the Challenge Tour and Sunshine Tour win at Zebula Golf Estate & Spa in Limpopo, South Africa.

Van Tonder won the event in a playoff over Altin Van Der Merwe after both players finished tied after 72 holes of regulation at 16-under 272. Van Tonder tracked down Van Der Merwe on the back nine, as the leader stumbled to a closing 74 and Van Tonder surged.

In the sudden-death playoff, Van Tonder prevailed to win the tournament to earn his third win of the Sunshine Tour season.

Liam Nolan finished in solo third place, a shot out of the playoff.

Van Tonder won the €56,832.53 winner's share of the $375,000 purse.

Van Tonder earned 8.4 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win, with the minimum point schedule removed from the Official World Golf Ranking.

There was a 36-hole cut, with 73 of 156 starting players finishing the event in the 1st completed event of the Challenge Tour season.

Van Tonder would have earned 320 Race to Mallorca points as a Challenge Tour member, with its season-long Race to Mallorca points race getting started for 2025. Sunshine Tour Order of Merit points were also available for Sunshine Tour members, which Van Tonder is.

The 2025 Challenge Tour schedule continues next week with the MyGolfLife Open in South Africa.
