The Crypto.com Showdown final results: Prize money payout and match scores

The 2024 Crypto.com Showdown final leaderboard is headed by winners Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, who teamed up to defeat Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka in the exhibition match at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The team-based match featured three six-hole sections. In the opening session of best ball (also known as fourball), Scheffler and McIlroy won the session 3 and 2, with McIlroy making an eagle 3 on the par-5 fourth hole to settle the session.

The match moved to the seventh hole to start a six-hole segment of alternate shot. Scheffler and McIlroy won the ninth hole, lost the 11th hole and then won the 12th hole with a steady par to win that segment. At that point, the PGA Tour stalwarts had a 2-0 lead over their LIV Golf opponents, with each segment worth a point.

McIlroy was the all-star for the PGA Tour duo, particularly early in the round by making hole-winning putts, while the LIV Golf players struggled to find the pace of the greens -- particularly on putts inside 8 feet.

The final six-hole segment of the match featured two concurrent six-hole matches, with McIlroy taking on DeChambeau and Scheffler facing Koepka.

McIlroy won the first two holes of his match against DeChambeaum, making consecutive 3s. DeChambeau clawed back to win the third hole.

Scheffler won the opening hole against Koepka with a par, lost the next hole to a Koepka birdie and then won the third hole with another par.

Ultimately, Scheffler won the par-5 16th hole to go dormie in his match against Koepka, assuring that Scheffler and McIlroy would earn at least 2.5 points out of the 4 available -- giving their team the overall win.

Scheffler and McIlroy won whole of the $10,000,000 purse, with each winner's share being $5,000,000.
