2019 WGC-HSBC Champions betting odds: Picks, who will win

The 2019 WGC-HSBC Champions betting odds have been released for the week at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China.

The betting favorite this week is Rory McIlroy, who comes into the week at 6-to-1 (+600) betting odds. Hideki Matsuyama is 10-to-1, coming off a runner-up finish in the Zozo Championship.

Xander Schauffele is next best at 12-to-1, but the American and past winner of the event hasn't been playing a ton of golf lately. However, when he has played, he's done well.

Justin Rose comes in at 14-to-1 (+1400) this week. He won this tournament, the beneficiary of Dustin Johnson's meltdown in this event. He's not at his best, but he's playing well enough.

Tommy Fleetwood seems somewhat under the radar this week at 16-to-1. He continues to play solid golf regularly, but he hasn't advanced much as a winner in 2019.

Win bets

Justin Rose is getting decent odds for a guy who plays this tournament every year and has won it in the past. We keep reiterating he's not quite Peak Rose, but that doesn't mean he's that much less of a threat.

Rafa Cabrera Bello (+4200) is a solid choice this week, particularly because of his solid record at Sheshan International. He's been playing OK in the Asian Swing, and he was a runner-up in the Spanish Open.

Cameron Smith is an intriguing play. Smith is clearly an autumnal genius. He loves playing in Asia and Australia. His confidence should be high right now.
