The 2019 FedEx Cup final leaderboard is headed by winner Rory McIlroy, who won the $15 million season-long points race by winning the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
Under the new format, all 30 players start the Tour Championship with starting strokes as opposed to points. At the end of 72 holes, the player with the lowest total of on-course strokes and handicap strokes wins the FedEx Cup. Bonus money is paid out based on finish in the event.
McIlroy won the $15,000,000 FedEx Cup winner's share of the $60,000,000 purse, paid to the top 150 finishers in the final FedEx Cup standings. Xander Schauffele won $5,000,000 for finishing second.
