The 2019 PGA Championship weather forecast looks to include a small chance of rain falling at Bethpage Black, and the updated forecast for the week calls for cooler temperatures throughout the week of the tournament.

The general weather forecast calls for little chance of rain beyond Thursday, when the weather is forecast to be the messiest of the week. After Thursday, the rain chance drops dramatically, almost to zero, with temperatures in the 60s on Long Island. It'll be cool, so expect to bring a sweater or jacket.

With the PGA Championship moving to May now and in the future, these should be temperatures we expect in the northeast portion of the United States.

2019 PGA Championship updated weather forecast

  • Thursday: 64 degrees, 50 percent chance of rain, ESE 12 mph winds
  • Friday: 63 degrees, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain, ESE 9 mph winds
  • Saturday: 66 degrees, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain, NW 9 mph winds
  • Sunday: 64 degrees, partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain, SSE 10 mph winds
