The 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play purse is set for $10.25 million, with 64 professional players who started the event at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, earning a paycheck this week.
The winner's share of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play prize pool is at $1,745,000, with the second-place finisher taking home $1,095,000.
The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play field is headed by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and 48 of the world top 50.
With this being a match-play event, all players who advance through each round are allowed to finish the tournament on Sunday and move up the leaderboard in the final round. No players are subject to the PGA Tour's secondary cut.
Players who didn't advance to the knockput stages were awarded prize money based on how they fared in group stage points earned compared to the total 48 players not to advance on Friday.
