Cara Robinson Banks is the new full-time play-by-play voice of women's golf on NBC Sports, taking over the role at the first LPGA major of 2026, The Chevron Championship in Houston.
Banks was originally one of the many co-hosts on Golf Channel's "Golf Central," making the move from the United Kingdom to Orlando and Studio AP in 2016. She since moved on to anchoring PGA Tour coverage, hosting Golf Channel shows and more.
Robinson Banks came to Golf Channel from working overseas for IMG's "Golfing World" program and covering golf on Sky Sports. She also has hosted tennis coverage, including at Wimbledon. She was the first addition to "Morning Drive" following the departure of Holly Sonders to Fox Sports.
Banks has three children with her husband, and she works a full slate of events with NBC Sports, including golf.
