2018 ANA Inspiration Monday playoff: Players, start time, how to watch on TV

The 2018 ANA Inspiration playoff between Inbee Park and Pernilla Lindberg concludes (presumably) Monday with the resumption of the sudden-death extra session on Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Four playoff holes -- all on the par-5 18th hole -- were not enough to determine a winner after the completion of 72 holes of regulation. After playing the fourth playoff hole with the partial help of flood lights around the green and tee box, the LPGA Tour decided to move the finish to Monday in better daylight, as sudden death will resume at 11 a.m. Eastern (8 a.m. local time) to determine the winner.

Golf Channel will broadcast the finish to the playoff, with the playoff resuming on the 10th hole, then moving to the 17th and 18th holes in succession if necessary.

Park and Lindberg were joined on the first three playoff holes by Jennifer Song, who was seeking her first LPGA win and major championship.

This is the first time the ANA Inspiration had a three-person playoff among the eight in tournament history. The last Monday finish on the LPGA was in October 2017 at the McKayson New Zealand Women's Open.
