The betting favorite is Dustin Johnson, who goes off at 6-to-1 (+600) betting odds for the week. Justin Thomas comes in at 8-to-1, coming off a playoff win at The Honda Classic.

Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth come in third best at 12-to-1.

2018 WGC-Mexico Championship expert picks

presented by BetDSI.com

If you're looking for someone to wager on at this week's WGC-Mexico Championship, here are our expert tips:

  • Dustin Johnson -- Sticking with DJ in the lead-dog position despite a few blah Sundays in a row.
  • Tommy Fleetwood -- Fleetwood was second here last year, but, more importantly, he clearly gets the PGA Tour game.
  • Patrick Cantlay -- Fantastic ballstriking was rewarded here last year, and there's no reason to think Cantlay won't continue to be great tee-to-green.
  • Francesco Molinari -- If Molinari putts even adequately this week, he could win. His SG Tee to Green figures are awesome. Putting, so far, is horrendous.
