You've seen the commercials. You've heard from your buddies. You're curious. You want to try Ship Sticks.

And why wouldn't you? Ship Sticks is the better way to get your golf clubs from where they are to where you want them, avoiding the annoyance and cost of taking them on a flight and lugging them to your golf destination.

But, you're probably wondering just how easy it is to use Ship Sticks to get your clubs shipped where you want (without even having to be with them the whole trip). Well, let us walk you through how easy it is to use Ship Sticks.

First, head over to Ship Sticks' website, shipsticks.com. You'll have to create an account, so you might as well do that up front.

After you've done that, head on over to the ship page. This is where you input where you want your clubs picked up and delivered to. You can arrange for a pick-up from and drop-off to either your residence, hotel, business or golf club/resort. When shipping to a golf course or resort, Ship Sticks knows the full address and information of where its going. All you have to do is start typing the name, before you know it the destination will pop up.

Then you'll tell them how many golf bags your shipping, select the size and choose whether or not you want to purchase additional insurance on each bag. You can also choose to ship 3 different size ranges of luggage (carry-on, checked or oversized).

Once you've selected all that information, you tell Ship Sticks if you're shipping round trip or one-way and pick the pick-up and drop-off date(s). With all that information, Ship Sticks will give you a variety of shipping options, including different arrival dates and corresponding prices. The longer you can wait between pick-up and drop-off, the lower the price.

You can pay with the four major credit cards, or some clubs will actually put the charge on your tab.

From there, you'll print the shipping labels from Ship Sticks for pick-up and affix them to your golf travel bags (hard- or soft-shell) or boxes with your bags in them. Ship Sticks partners with FedEx, UPS, and DHL. There are the carriers who will handle the care of your bags through it's journey to its final destination. If you elect for a pick-up make sure to have your bags ready throughout the pick-up window of 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

You can track your bag(s) throughout the entire ship process from pick-up to delivery.

Customer service is available from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Eastern on weekdays and from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekends, by phone or email.
