A British Open fan seems to be very confused what fans are doing when Matt Kuchar hits a good shot or walks up the 18th hole at a tournament. They're not booing Matt Kuchar. They're chanting "Kooch" or "Kuch," depending on how you want to spell it. And it's a chant of endearment. That didn't stop said confused fan from writing a quick letter to the editor of a local paper to express their displeasure with what they thought was a sign of disrespect.

Jim Bowens of Sidmouth did not get it. This isn't "unsporting behavior"! I guess he deserves credit for calling it The Open instead of the British Open.

Can you imagine how confused Mr. Bowens might have been were it somehow Boo Weekley in there against Spieth for the Claret Jug? Holy moley, this guy might have lost it.
