The 2017 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship begins on Friday (June 23) with the first round from Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Ark.

Lydia Ko is defending champion in a field headlines by Stacy Lewis, Michelle Wie and Paula Creamer, all vying for the $300,000 first-place prize from the $2,000,000 prize pool.

The 2017 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship leaderboard will be headed by defending champion Lydia Ko, who won the second of the LPGA's three 54-hole events last year in Arkansas. Stacy Lewis is vying to end a multi-season run without a win.

Tee times and featured groups

With a full field teeing off in threesomes off Nos. 1 and 10 at Pinnacle Country Club, the 2017 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Friday tee times run from 7:30 a.m. Central time through the final group at 2:31 p.m. Here are some marquee groups throughout the day.

From No. 1:

  • 1:25 p.m. -- Paula Creamer, Carlota Ciganda, Jacqui Conclino
  • 1:36 p.m. -- Lydia Ko, Ai Miyazato, Inbee Park
  • 1:47 p.m. -- Michelle Wie, So Yeon Ryu, Danielle Kang

The LPGA Tour releases the first-round pin sheet with the pin placements (or as they say officially, hole locations) just before play gets going in the morning.

TV times and how to watch online

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship airs on TV on Friday on Golf Channel, with coverage going from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Eastern.
