The 2017 US Open Friday pin sheet has been released for the second round, continuing the first national championship at Erin Hills in Wisconsin. The hole locations are a big unknown this week, as it's unclear where the USGA will use on each hole, each day.

Let's look at the hole locations (pin placements) as selected by the USGA.

2017 US Open Friday second round pin placements

Some things to note:

  • The hole location on No. 18 might be the best to make eagle, despite playing 675 yards.
  • On the par-4 third, the hole location is perhaps the diciest but also easiest to access on the back of the putting surface.
  • The pin on No. 12 should be tough to find, with the green somewhat saddling at its location.
