John Daly won for the first time on PGA Tour Champions on Sunday, taking the Insperity Invitational near Houston, Texas, exactly a year after he made his debut on the 50-plus senior circuit.
Walking up the final hole, Daly had a two-shot lead and could win with a two-putt from 60 feet. Taking the walk, he stopped in his path and walked over to an enormous Arnold Palmer umbrella logo painted in the fairway to honor the passed legend, got to his knees and kissed it before finishing his walk.

As it turns out, Daly only needed three putts to get the win after playing partner Kenny Perry couldn't make a birdie of his own. When Daly won, several of his friends, including his peers, ran onto the green to pour and spray champagne on the two-time major winner.

This is Daly's first U.S. win since the 2004 Buick Invitational on the PGA Tour and his first win anywhere since a PGA of Europe event in 2014.
