The 2017 SBS Tournament of Champions kicks off the 2017 portion of the 2016-17 PGA Tour season, starting on Thursday from the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort on Hawaii.

Jordan Spieth is the defending champion of this event, winning by eight shots here last year as he took the first of two PGA Tour wins in 2016. However, Dustin Johnson leads the field this week with Hideki Matsuyama at 5-to-1 betting odds. Spieth is third on the ranking with 11-to-2 betting odds.
