The 2016 PGA Championship went to Jimmy Walker, who survived a 36-hole, marathon final day to win his first major championship by a shot over Jason Day at 14-under 266. It was a long day that started with a resumption of the third round before the weather threat cleared and the fate of the Wanamaker Trophy was decided.

Golf News Net's Keith Leventhal chronicled the action from the site of the year's final major.
