Graham DeLaet took more than a month off from the PGA Tour in May and June to fix the chipping yips. It appeared he had gotten over the problem, finishing T-29 at the Barracuda Championship and T-8 at the Barabsol Championship.

However, DeLaet's chipping yips came back with a vengeance on two different holes during Thursday's opening round of the 2016 RBC Canadian Open.

On the first of the two holes, at the ninth at Glen Abbey Golf Club, DeLaet double-bogeyed after a little back-and-forth with a wedge.

Seven holes later at No. 16, it was worse. DeLaet got to the greenside bunker in 2 at the par 5, but then skulled his bunker shot into another bunker, from which he needed two shots to escape. That led to another double bogey as part of an opening-round 77.
