The 2016 U.S. Open got closer to getting back on schedule on Friday at Oakmont Country Club, just outside of Pittsburgh. The original late-early portion of the draw mostly played 36 holes to wrap up their collective first two rounds, waiting for a cut to be made on Saturday.
Golf News Net's Keith Leventhal chronicled the action from the finale of the first round and the partial second round.
