The 2016 U.S. Open is getting closer to on schedule for a Sunday finish, with the third round beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. A total of 67 players made the 36-hole cut, with the players grouped in threesomes going off Nos. 1 and 10 at Oakmont Country Club.
Dustin Johnson leads at 4-under 136, while first-round leader Andrew Landry is in second place at 3-under 137. They're in the final grouping with Scott Piercy, one of four players, along with Sergio Garcia, Gregory Bourdy and Shane Lowry in at 2-under 138. Garcia, Bourdy and Lowry will play together in the next-to-last group off the first tee.
