Jason Day defends a title for the first time in 2016, as the Aussie leads the field at the Farmers Insurance Open. The two courses at Torrey Pines -- the South, which hosted the 2008 U.S. Open, and the North, which will soon be renovated by Tom Weiskopf -- host the event for the first 36 holes. Then, on the weekend, the field after the cut plays at Torrey South.

Day is the favorite this week at 6-to-1, but beware as he pulled out of the Wednesday pro-am with illness. Rickie Fowler, who won in Abu Dhabi last week, is second favorite at 13-to-1.

Regular Torrey contender Brandt Snedeker is at 16-to-1.
