The 2016 Web.com Tour schedule became official on Wednesday, finally getting released after a last-minute new event rounded out the 25-tournament schedule.

The season begins Jan. 28-31 with the Panama Claro Championship in Panama City, Panama, followed by the Club Colombia Championship in Bogota. The Tour then makes its 2016 debut on U.S. soil with the 25th Chitimacha Louisiana Open played March 17-20 before heading back into Latin America.

The biggest stretch of the pre-Finals events will unfold in the summer, with 12 events in 13 weeks in June, July and August.

There are four new regular season events on the schedule for 2016:

  • Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship, Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, June 2-5
  • Nashville Golf Open at Nashville Golf & Athletic Club in Brentwood, Tenn. on June 16-19
  • LECOM Health Challenge at Peek-n-Play Resort (former tournament site) in Clymer, N.Y. on July 7-10
  • Lincoln Land Charity Championship at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Ill. on July 11-17

The DAP Championship is also a new event, and it assumes the position as the first Web.com Tour Finals event from the departed Hotel Fitness Championship. It will be played at Canterbury Golf Club in Beachwood, Ohio, from Sept .8-11. The long-running Albertsons Boise Open is also moving into the playoff schedule, taking over the second spot from the Charlotte-based Finals event.

A total of 10 Web.com Tour events will be on TV in 2016, all airing on Golf Channel, including the four Web.com Tour Finals events.
