High-top golf shoes are becoming a trend in the sport, and not just in the burgeoning category of golf boots, perfect for winter golf.
Rickie Fowler, a fashion-forward guy himself, wanted to get a pair of high-top golf shoes for the start of 2016 and the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. So he went to Puma Golf and asked him to make him some.

Ultimately, what Puma did was put a high top body a pair of their TitanTour golf shoes, which Fowler was already wearing.

Unlike Brooks Koepka's slick Nike Golf Flyknit Chukka high tops, these shoes are not yet available for public purchase. But they might be soon.
Fowler is also sporting a new tattoo, adding to the G he got on his elbow he got done last year in support of Georgia Veach, a young girl facing a rare brain disorder, who is the daughter of Seattle-based pastor Chad Veach. This one is on his left bicep in honor of his grandpa, who introduced him to golf.
