2015 The Players Championship betting odds

The fifth major is here! (Well, it would be the second major, but you get the idea.) It's time for The Players Championship.

The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass again hosts the PGA Tour's crown jewel, its flagship event. As a venue, it has a tendency to produce random champions that aren't necessarily the best player in the field but have a well-rounded game that makes them the right champion on a course that demands a complete game.

Rory McIlroy, fresh off his win at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play, is the betting favorite at 7-to-1 odds. As you might imagine, Jordan Spieth, who would have won at TPC Harding Park were it a stroke-play competition, is just behind at 15-to-2.

Tiger Woods, newly single and thinking about his schedule well in advance, may be a bit of a steal at 28-to-1.
