Rory McIlroy has been frustrated this week at WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump Doral. Instead of throwing in the towel on Friday, McIlroy threw one of his clubs in a water hazard.
McIlroy's second shot from 222 yards to the par-5 eighth in Round 2 found a water hazard well left of the green. Afterward, McIlroy chucked his long iron after the ball, well into the hazard where his ball landed.
The world No. 1 went on to make bogey on the hole and left to play the rest of his round with 13 clubs.
