It's not like Tom Watson went into hiding, never to be seen again after the Americans lost the Ryder Cup under his leadership at Gleneagles. But it had been since that Sunday in Scotland that anyone had seen Watson in public -- that is, until last night.

Watson, who was born in Kansas City (and lives over the border in Kansas), was at Kauffman Stadium last night as the Kansas City Royals beat the San Francisco Giants 7-2 in Game 2 of the 2014 World Series.

Donning a throwback Royals bullpen jacket and a Royals hat, Watson was in several pictures shared on Twitter, including one with actor Paul Rudd and Hall of Famer Joe Torre.
