Graeme McDowell is a dad as wife Kristin Stape gives birth to first child

It's been a big week for Graeme McDowell. First, he announced on Sunday he'd be parting ways with Horizon Sports Management after seven years to represent himself. Then on Monday, he became a father for the first time as wife Kristin Stape gave birth to the couple's first child, a daughter.

McDowell admitted his mind wasn't well focused on this past weekend's The Barclays, and it's no surprise given all that is happening in his life. The 2010 U.S. Open champion was already planning to skip this week's Deutsche Bank Championship to be present for the Caesarean-section birth.
