Which senior golfer has the most PGA Tour Champions wins?

PGA Tour Champions is a place for senior golfers, 50 and over, to continue their prolific careers and for some lesser-known names to enjoy the taste of competition and, in some cases, winning. However, there is one player with the most PGA Tour Champions wins that stands out well ahead of the others who have joined and played on the erstwhile senior tour since 1980.

Hale Irwin has, far and away, the most PGA Tour Champions wins, taking 45 titles since joining the tour in 1995. He still plays on the senior circuit, but he hasn't won since 2007. He's now 71 years old. In his career, Irwin won seven senior majors, two behind Bernhard Langer's mark.

Bernhard Langer shared the mark with Nicklaus for the most senior major wins with eight, until he won the 2017 Senior PGA Championship to bring his tally to nine. The German and former world No. 1 also has the second-most PGA Tour Champions wins, owning 32 titles since joining the senior tour in 2007. Now 60, Langer is still playing dominating golf.

Lee Trevino has the third most PGA Tour Champions wins at 29, while Dr. Gil Morgan has the fourth most with 25.

Of players who joined PGA Tour Champions since 2000, Jay Haas is next best after Langer with 18 wins.
