The Symetra Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour and equivalent to the Web.com Tour, will keep the same name through the end of the 2017 season.

At the conclusion of the weather-delayed Symetra Tour Championship on Monday, the financial services company announced a three-year extension of its title sponsorship of the Symetra Tour.

Symetra initially signed a three-year deal to sponsor the tour, taking over from Duramed, who ended their sponsorship in 2010, that ends in 2014. For the 2011 season, the tour was known as the LPGA Futures Tour.

The Symetra Tour awards 10 LPGA Tour cards to the top-10 finishers on the Volvik Race for the Card money list.

The 2013 schedule had 15 events and appears on track to grow slightly for 2014.
