How to get some golf joggers like Rickie Fowler is wearing

Rickie Fowler is making a fashion statement this week at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

On his feet, he's wearing high-top Puma TitanTour Ignite shoes, complete with the velcro ankle strap right out of the late 1990s.

On his legs, he's wearing joggers. No, they're not jogging pants. Rather, joggers are a cut of pant that typically offers an elastic or drawstring waist while featuring a tapered cut toward the ankles. They're sized like sweatpants, so no need to worry about your waist size. They're typically made almost entirely of cotton and they're very comfortable.  No wonder Fowler wants to wear them, even if it's horrifying some in the older set.

So, if you're hip or feeling a little adventurous, maybe you're looking to buy some joggers of your own.

Well, here are some reasonably priced choices that you can try out either on the course or at home first before you venture out to the links in them.

Levi's makes a few different pairs of joggers for just about $30 per pair, including ones that look like jeans, which is kind of weird and not going to work on the golf course. Neither are the patterns in joggers that look explicitly like sweatpants. So you'll want to stick with black, gray, tan, white and dark blue colors.

Unionbay, which is a name you'll remember if you came of age in the early 2000s, has an entry level pair for about $15 on Amazon. It has a hidden drawstring -- good for the course -- and an elastic waist.

Dickie's also has a pair that looks a little more like traditional pants, until you get to the ankles. They do them by waist size because of the button closure and has belt loops, so you can look like a regular golfer.

If you're an older guy, be prepared to get some guff from your friends, but also revel in the fact that you're probably going to be super comfortable.
