If you’re new to head-to-head matchups betting in golf, sportsbooks give bettors a variety of one-on-one or group matchups, pitting players against each other in a single round or for an entire tournament. Of course, before the tournament, we’re looking at either first-round wagers or whole-tournament wagers. If only one of the players makes the cut (there’s no cut this week), then that player is the winner by default, assuming they finish.

This week, we have a stacked field for our third week back in action. There are some fascinating matchups this week, too. We went 2-1 last week, with our loss coming on taking Sungjae over the winner, Webb Simpson.
Bryson DeChambeau (-102) over Rory McIlroy: Driving is a bigger deal here than Harbour Town, but big Bryson should be able to keep up.
Patrick Cantlay (+115) over Justin Rose: Rose has come back to the Tour in good form, but Cantlay should be a good matchup returning to the Tour.
Joaquin Niemann (+105) over Gary Woodland: Niemann rates highly for us in our model, and his course fit is pretty strong here.[/s2If]
