What’s the longest streak of consecutive holes without a bogey in golf history?

Playing a single round of golf without a bogey (or worse) is a remarkable accomplishment for any recreational golfer. It's great for most professional golfers.

On the rare occasion, a golfer will go through a full 72-hole tournament with making a single score of bogey or worse. That is a special achievement few pro golfers have every achieved. Some of those golfers have gone bogey-free through an entire tournament at the highest levels of professional golf.

Even more rarely, a golfer will go at least 100 consecutive competitive holes played without a bogey (or worse).

The longest streak of consecutive holes with a bogey is a dicey record, though. The PGA Tour doesn't keep an official record for the longest bogey-free streak. Neither does the European Tour or the LPGA Tour.

However, the longest known bogey-free streak of holes in pro golf history belongs to Jin Young Ko on the LPGA Tour. She played the final 34 holes of the AIG Women's British Open without a bogey, and then she won the 2019 Canadian Pacific Women's Open without making a single bogey. Ko then played the first eight holes of the Cambia Portland Classic bogey-free before missing a 3-foot par putt to extend the streak beyond 114 holes.

Tiger Woods played 110 holes without a bogey from the fourth hole of the 2000 Bell Canadian Open (51 holes) through the fifth hole of the third round of the 2000 National Car Rental Classic at Disney (59 holes) is the longest record anyone can recall.

In winning the Canadian Pacific Women's Open, Ko became the first player since Inbee Park in 2015 to win an LPGA Tour event without a bogey. Park had a 93-hole bogey-free streak around the 2015 HSBC Women's Champions, including the final round of her prior tournament and a couple of bookend-ing holes.

Both Ko's 114-hole run and Woods' 110-hole streak spanned more than six rounds.

It's possible there have been longer streaks in golf history, either in recreational golf or on lesser-known tours, but there isn't a Guinness World Record which has been verified that matches Ko's 114-hole streak.
