Jin Young Ko has a crush on Brooks Koepka: ‘I like big guys’

World No. 1 Jin Young Ko is kicking ass on the golf course, winning the ANA Inspiration this year to claim her first major as part of a campaign where she took over the top spot in the Rolex Rankings for the first time.

It just so happens she has a crush on her fellow world No. 1, Brooks Koepka.

On Tuesday, Ko was in the media center preparing for the third women's major championship of the year, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.

After the media offered questions for the Korean star, the moderator wrapped up with a question of their own:

"What do you like so much about Brooks Koepka and do you use that to inspire your play?"

Ko then laid it bare.

"I don't know. I met him in my dream," as the assembled room started laughing in response to Ko's smiling, "and then we had really great time."

The 23-year-old likes how the four-time major winner carries himself when the pressure is the greatest.

"[It's] always fun watching on him. He always (has) like poker face and then like stone. He's not move, moving, just stone."

Ko extended her arms wide and then said, "So I like him and I like big guy."

The world No. 1 had a translator in the news conference, but Ko, who is learning English through YouTube videos, answered everything in English. I sure know I would need a lot of work in Korean to be able to do the opposite.
