2019 PGA Championship field: Players, rankings

The 2019 PGA Championship field is nearly set with the passing of the Wells Fargo Championship.

The PGA Championship field is headlined by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and the full world top 50. There's a 156-player field, with the last spot held open for the winner of the AT&T Byron Nelson.

We do not have Monday open qualifiers for this event, played at Bethpage State Park's Black Course in Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y.

The PGA Championship doesn't have specific exemption criteria to invite the top 50, 60 or 100 players in the Official World Golf Ranking into the PGA Championship field. However, each year, the PGA Championship typically invites down to the top 100 players in the OWGR. This year, the top 102 players in the Official World Golf Ranking are in the field.
