The 2019 Players Championship weather forecast looks to include the chance of a windy, challenging Sunday at TPC Sawgrass, and the move to March comes with warm temperatures on Thursday and Friday.

The general weather forecast calls for a small chance of rain during championship days, with temperatures in the low 60s to high 70s through the week each day, cooling through the course of the week.

The wind will be consistently in the 11-15 mph range, with some expected gusts above 20 mph on Sunday. The wind direction on Saturday and Sunday will be out of the north, meaning Nos. 17 and 18 will play into the wind. That won't be so on Thursday and Friday.

2019 The Players Championship updated weather forecast

  • Thursday: 73 degrees, mostly sunny, SE 14 mph winds, 10 percent chance of rain
  • Friday: 78 degrees, mostly cloudy, S 11 mph winds, 10 percent chance of rain
  • Saturday: 62 degrees, partly cloudy with morning rain likely, N 12 mph winds, 40 chance of morning rain
  • Sunday: 66 degrees, partly cloudy, NNE 14 mph winds, small chance of rain
