Matt Every literally pulled up a chair waiting in the fairway on the Web.com Tour

Lots of pro golfers are slow, and they get slower on Sundays when they cut the checks.

Matt Every isn't one of those slow players, and so he often finds himself frustrated by the pace of play he has to endure. If you're a quick player and live in a sea of turtles, you either accept the pace and slow down, or you face going mad dealing with it. On Sunday at the Web.com Tour's Lecom Suncoast Classic, Every found a creative solution to wait out a delay before he was able to hit.

Playing the par-5 16th at Lakewood National Golf Club near Sarasota, Fla., Every literally pulled up a volunteer chair into the middle of the fairway and plopped down in it.

Agent Drew Carr took a picture of Every taking a load off.

This is beautiful in its defiance. Truly, I'm kind of shocked players don't carry around those folding seats that also double as walking sticks. They can shove one of those bad boys in the staff bag and whip them out whenever they know they're facing a long wait -- be it on the tee box, from their approach shot, or hell, even in a bunker.

Maybe the rest helped. Every birdied the hole and the last to shoot 74.
