You can now play Rickie Fowler's irons.

Of course, most golfers shouldn't play Rickie Fowler's irons or anything approaching them. However, for better players who are looking for a set mixing the benefits of a muscleback blade in their short irons with technology in the longer irons, Cobra Golf has developed the new King Forged CB/MB set.

The King Forged CB/MB Iron set is a progressive set, which Cobra has been helping popularize among better players. The 4-6 irons have a players-style cavity-back design, with the remaining irons (7-iron through pitching wedge) sporting a traditional muscle-back shape. For what it's worth, Fowler's set is all musclebacks.

The cavity-back long irons feature a new muscle cavity for a lower trajectory and soft feel while providing forgiveness away from the center of the face with added forgiveness on mishits. If you've played musclebacks, then you know they're designed for precision and workability, and that's exactly what players need with the scoring clubs.

Each iron goes through a five-step forging process for precise shaping and preferred feel, with the face and grooves, which use Cobra's design in wedges, both CNC milled for the most exact end product possible. The heads come with a diamondized black metal (DBM) finish for a durable, appealing murdered-out black satin look.

“These high-performance Cobra irons consistently deliver the workability and shot-shaping control that I need to be competitive on course,” said Fowler in a release. "I’ve been playing them for a few years, and know better players are going to appreciate the sleek look and soft feel, along with the ability to work the ball without sacrificing forgiveness."

Like all Cobra irons, the King Forged CB/MB set has Cobra Connect, powered by Arccos Golf, to provide real-time data and recommendations for playing a better, smarter round.

The King Forged CB/MB irons come stock with KBS S-Taper (with a black PVD finish) shafts in regular or stiff shafts for $1,100 (4I-PW). There are optional 2- and 3-irons, as well an available gap wedge. A set full of cavity-back irons is available through custom order in right- and left-handed looks. A full muscle-back set is available only for right-handed players.

The Cobra Golf King Forged CB/MB irons will be available Nov. 2.
