Callaway's Mack Daddy wedges have been a popular canvas for some sweet customizations over the years, particularly from Anthony Taranto, the company's in-house wedge artist extraordinaire.
Now the company is trying a new spin on the Mack Daddy 4 wedges, offering what they've dubbed the Tactical PVD finish on their popular line of wedges in a military-inspired look. While the sole and back of the wedge has a camo-style green look, the face has a black PVD finish to avoid any kind of confusion for golfers and black decorative medallions.
The Tactical wedges have a limited-edition Black Tour-Issue shaft and Lamkin Tactical grip.
A portion of the proceeds for Mack Daddy 4 Tactical wedges will be donated to the Birdies For The Brave Foundation, a national military outreach initiative.
Callaway Golf is also introducing a new 15 percent discount to all active, reserve and retired military veterans. Veterans can verify their eligibility with ID.me on Callaway's website to get the discount.
The Callaway Mack Daddy 4 Tactical wedges are available Sept. 21 for $180 each in right-handed and left-handed versions, in 50-, 52-, 54-, 56-, 58- and 60-degree lofts.
