The 2018 BMW Championship final round has been delayed by weather and postponed to Monday, meaning the PGA Tour's third leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs will need another day beyond Sunday.

The final round of the 2018 BMW Championship is set to begin from Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa., on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. local (Eastern) time.

Golf Channel will broadcast the potential finish to the tournament from 10 a.m. Eastern time, with final round tee times scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. and run through 9:20 a.m. in threesomes off the first and 10th tees. Justin Rose leads over Rory McIlroy and Xander Schuaffele as Rose seeks to become the No. 1 player in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time in his career.

The Monday weather forecast is not good, with the strong possibility of continued rain rendering Aronimink Golf Club unplayable for portions of the morning if not the whole day. Under PGA Tour rules, at least half the field (35 players) must complete their 72-hole tournament on Monday for there to be a potential Tuesday finish. If that doesn't happen, then the final-round scores are wiped out and 54-hole leader Justin Rose will be declared the champion.
