Look, we've done a lot of posts over the years about alligators on golf courses. Big ones. 15-foot alligators that look like dinosaurs. 13-foot alligators that would make you mess yourself.
However, we've found a new way to jazz up an old, tired cliche post niche. How? Now we can do a post on a giant alligator fighting a giant python on a golf course.
Sadly, we don't have video of the conflict, but we do have photographic evidence mid-struggle of a fight between the two swamp masters.
Richard Nadler took these images at The Golf Club at Fiddler's Creek, in Naples, Fla., which show an alligator apparently getting the upper hand in the bout. However, that didn't stop the python from doing what comes naturally, wrapping itself around the alligator in the hope of suffocating it and perhaps scoring a win by submission.
Nadler and his crew obviously had golf to play, so they didn't stop to let the fight take its course, but we're betting the alligator took this one down.
