The caddie bib No. 89 has proven to be a bit of a lucky charm at the Masters each of the last two years.

In 2016, Danny Willett won the Masters for his first major championship, and his caddie was wearing the No. 89 bib. (Of course, his caddie got No. 1 by default in 2017 because that spot is reserved for the defending champion.)

In 2017, Sergio Garcia won his first major championship in a playoff over Justin Rose to take the green jacket. His caddie's bib number? Yup, No. 89.

Want to get even crazier? When Jack Nicklaus won the Masters for the sixth time in 1986, and his son Jackie had the caddie bib No. 89 that day, too.

At the Masters, caddies are required to wear the club's jumpsuit that it issues its own caddies, and they're the only major championship on the men's side to require that.
