WATCH: A steam roller takes on a golf ball, and you’ll be surprised what wins

If you've ever heard some of the best golfers in the world hit a ball flush, it sounds like the ball is hit so hard that it could explode.

But, as you're about to find out, it's pretty much impossible to destroy a golf ball.

A YouTube channel called Crush decided to take an 8-ton steamroller and run it over a golf ball, looking to crush it to the point that it would come apart. It didn't work out that way.

It's pretty remarkable to see how much pressure the steamroller can apply to the golf ball, and how malleable its shape is until the weight and pressure go away, letting the ball basically return to its original shape. So, while covers may cut and break over time, you don't ever have to worry about hitting a ball so hard that it'll vaporize.
