2016 RBC Canadian Open Monday qualifiers

Joey Garber, Cameron Percy, Ben Taylor and Corey Conners all earned spots in the 2016 RBC Canadian Open through the Monday qualifier.

Garber and Percy were co-medalists in the 18-hole event at Diamondback Golf Club in Richmond Hill, Ontario, each shooting 5-under 67.

Then it came down to the three players who shot 69 -- Taylor, Conners and Chris Hemmerich -- to battle it out in a playoff for the two remaining spots on offer. Ultimately, Hemmerich was the odd man out.

Garber gets in through the Monday qualifier, doing so as well to get into the Barracuda Championship, where he finished an impressive T-13. The 24-year-old Garber finished 108th on the Mackenzie Tour money list last season. He was a second-team All-American at the University of Georgia in 2014.

Percy, the 42-year-old Aussie, is making his 12th PGA Tour start of the season, making the cut in the last five. He has a pair of top-15 finishes this season.

Ben Taylor is the player who won LSU their first men's NCAA golf championship in 60 years. He turned pro after graduating last May. The Englishman has made three cuts in six Mackenzie Tour starts this season.

Conners, a 24-year-old Canadian, has been splitting time between PGA Tour Latinoamerica and Mackenzie Tour this year. In his most recent start, he was runner-up at the Staal Foundation Open.
