Masters fan gets into a Burn War with Bubba Watson at the 2016 Masters

Bubba Watson was the 57th and last player to make the cut at the 2016 Masters, a beneficiary of the tournament's 10-Shot Rule and a late bogey by 36-hole leader Jordan Spieth to bring that cut to Watson's 6-over total.

For his third-round tee time, Watson drew Jeff Knox, Augusta National's non-competing marker, who plays on the weekends at the Masters when an odd-number of players make the cut. That probably wasn't Watson's idea of a good time, and neither was shooting 3-over 39 on the front nine.

On the 10th hole, it didn't get any better, as Watson found the woods with his drive. Then, as USA Today reports, Watson wanted some space from the patrons near his ball. The conversation didn't go well.

Watson: Can you back up, you’re really not supposed to be back here

Fan: Neither is your ball.

Watson: I don’t know about you, but I have two green jackets. [Pitched ball back into fairway.] Thanks for coming.

Not a good look for the two-time Masters winner, who went on to shoot 4-over 76 on Saturday and avoid a date with Knox for a second consecutive day.
